Section 8 Consulting LLC ("we," "us") respects intellectual property rights and expects users of boringrich.com to do the same. This policy explains how to report claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("DMCA").

Our copyrighted work

Boring Rich by Section 8 Karim — including its chapters, frameworks, worksheets, calculators, checklists, cover art, and all content on this Site — is our copyrighted property. Copying, scanning, uploading, sharing, reselling, or redistributing the Book or its bonus materials — in whole or in part, in any format, including on file-sharing sites, messaging groups, or course platforms — is copyright infringement. We actively pursue takedowns of pirated copies.

If you have found an unauthorised copy of our work, please tell us at admin@boringrich.com — we appreciate it.

How to submit a takedown notice

To be effective, your written notice must include all of the following:
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, for multiple works at one site, a representative list).
3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail — including the exact URL — for us to locate it.
4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.Incomplete notices may delay or prevent action.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice can make you liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

What we do when we receive a valid notice

We will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified, notify the person who posted it where applicable, and keep a record of the notice.

Counter-notice

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above containing:
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the district of your address (or, if outside the United States, any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

Repeat infringers

We may terminate access, accounts, or licences of anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright, and may take further legal action.

Trademarks and other claims

For claimed trademark infringement or other intellectual property concerns, email admin@boringrich.com with the details and we'll review it.
